Mentoring

We provide you with the support you need to successfully integrate the Brava System into your company.  Our mentoring programme helps guide you on the next steps in managing your individual frontline managers, so they can achieve their leadership potential.

Mentoring of your frontline leadership project team begins after they have attended the Brava frontline leadership workshop.  Mentoring is also provided to the second-level managers involved in the project, together with your performance manager or champion.  We give you mentoring support fortnightly for the first two months and then monthly.

Brava initially guides your mentoring meetings for frontline managers which are run and supported internally by second-level managers and your performance manager.

Master coaching

Brava upskills selected managers to become lead coaches to ensure the skills and knowledge gained as part of this process stays in your organisation.  When training is used in isolation, it often fails to deliver results and improve performance.  Most trainers and managers intuitively know this to be true.

Neil Rackham's study of the Xerox Corporation in the 1970s shows how this works.  Rackham wanted to establish the degree of skills carryover from classroom to the job.  The results stunned everyone.  On average, trainees lost 87 per cent of their new skills within one month.  Rackham discovered some exceptions; those people who lost least or continued to gain skills had managers who systematically applied to the new behaviours immediately after training.  For this reason, Brava provides master coaching to selected second and third-line managers on the completion of the Brava frontline leadership workshop.  These managers will coach your frontline leaders.  Master coaching consists of initial on-job coaching over a three to four month period, followed by collaboration (with additional coaching if required) at five months.
