Shelley Garden, Consultant

Shelley is involved in the consulting side of Brava, investigating clients' businesses so Brava can effectively tailor solutions. She is also responsible for training and coaching. Brava's unique approach allows consultants to follow a client throughout the Brava process, which Shelley finds particularly rewarding as the positive results are readily seen.

With a decade of experience in performance improvement Shelley soon learnt the basic trigger response in people's nature - people love praise from their managers.

Shelley's background is in designing and implementing training projects for small and large businesses in the retail and hospitality sector. After successfully managing a large team in a $10 million pa turnover retail store, Shelley commenced an International career in training and coaching retail managers across Australasia and the Caribbean.

Subsequently she moved to London as Learning and Development Manager for a global company, where she managed a remote team of up to 12 trainers based throughout the United Kingdom. This four year project helped thousands of managers in the hospitality industry understand that training and coaching your staff is the key to increasing sales, service and quality.

Shelley holds a Diploma in Teaching from Wellington College of Education.
